This is an early 1980s vintage Courreges suit comprising a jacket and a skirt.  This Courreges suit is made in pretty pink tone with off-white checks through the jacket.  Andre Courreges, of course, made his name during the 1960s, when he offered avant garde, space age influenced designs.  The jacket to this Courreges suit is made with a small squared collar, padded shoulders, a shorter squared body and zips up the front to the top of the collar with a silver toned heavy duty Swiss Riri brand zipper.  There is a notch at either lower front and back bottom side and the jacket is fully lined in white viscose.  The skirt is made with a box pleated panel front and back, has silver tab cinches at each side of the waist and also has an 8” interior nylon zipper at the left front side.  It is also fully lined in a white viscose fabric.

Sizing: French size 40 is indicated on this Courreges suit which should be equivalent to a US size 8/10 (medium), but please note the following measurements for fit:

Sleeves:  22 1/2” from shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam:  17”

Bust:  40” around, taken under the arms, meant to be loose fitting

Waist: 38”

Bottom:  38” around

Length:  18 1/2”, measured flat

Skirt:

Waist:  32” around

Hips:  40” around

Length:  21”

Condition: This Courreges suit is in very good condition except for a very small and light spot on the skirt at the mid right back (see last close-up photo).  This is quite minor and should come out with a professional dry cleaning.  Otherwise, no other stains, soiling, pronounced wear or tear to either piece.

This is a wonderful quality 80s era Courreges suit - Courreges was a cutting edge Parisian design house and any Courreges garments would have been very expensive. Pretty pink colour to the Courreges suit!
